Women's Self-Defense
The women's self-defense course at the American Martial
Arts Center is geared for ladies from 15 to 80 and
specifically designed not only to teach effective
self-defense techniques but also to provide a sound
understanding of what a perpetrator is normally after.
In this course ladies will learn:
- What is Violence
- What is the typical goal of a perpetrator
- What is Power & Control
- Who is Most Likely to Attack You
- What are the Legal Consequences of Self-Defense
- What Steps Can You Take to Minimize Your Risks
- How do You Protect Yourself at Home
- How do You Protect Yourself in the Car
- How do You Protect Yourself at Work
- How do You Protect Yourself Traveling
- How to Avoid Conflict if Possible
- How to Use Assertiveness Verbally and Non-Verbally
to Avoid Being Targeted
- Self-Defense Techniques Against the Most Common

Executive Self-Defense
The executive self-defense program at the American
Martial Arts Center is designed to give executives a sound
understanding of personal protection. Steps that you
the executive can take to ensure your safety in the
workplace, in transition between work and home, yo ur
home and during business travel. An example of what

Family Safety and Self-Defense
The family safety and self-defense course at the American
Martial Arts Center is designed to provide families ways to
ensure their safety both within and outside their home.
In today's world this is a must have to ensure that your
family is safe and secure. In this course we work on
the following topics:

- Child Safety at Home and Away (Stranger Danger +)
